About

We know that what you want more than anything right now is to be able to make the physical progress you desire with far less of the pain and discomfort you are currently experiencing. You want to be able to train or dance like others around you without having to worry about injuries.

Things really need to change before that happens though. You need to find a practitioner that listens and understands your body type but they are often harder to find, particularly one who understands the unique challenges that dancers, gymnasts and the hypermobile population face, leaving you feeling lost and alone.

Here's how it works: First, book an initial assessment with our highly skilled and caring physiotherapist. Next, we will review your condition, goals and create an achievable plan that is suited to you, together. From there we support you to implement that plan so you can live and cope with the demands of the lifestyle you want to keep living.

So contact us today, so you can stop those reoccurring injuries and start moving with more confidence, with the results that your hard work deserves!

Shannon McGregor

Shannon completed her BSc in Physiotherapy with Honours in Glasgow back in 2013 and is continuing her post-graduate studies at Queen Margaret University.

Shannon danced for 15 years and this encouraged her passion for all things ballet, dance and gymnastics striving to improve the performing artists health. She found her love of rehabilitating dancers, gymnasts and the hypermobile population whilst working in Christchurch, New Zealand several years ago. She mixes manual therapy, skill specific rehab and performance enhancement in her care. She also trained in reformer and mat clinical Pilates.

Outside of work, it is safe to say she enjoys travel and meeting new people having visited 20 countries so far! She also loved Judo growing up and has found her self hiking, swimming, weightlifiting and doing Pilates in more recent years.

After spending time working and living in New Zealand for the past 6 years, Shannon is looking forward to be back exploring and providing physiotherapy services in Edinburgh!
